DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Sculpture Delivery & Installation Services

For an international project, packing, transport and site responsibilities need to be considered early. Availability and scope are confirmed for the actual location and work.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC PLANNING

Start with the receiving site.

A sculpture’s dimensions and form affect more than its appearance. Share the destination and known access conditions while the design is still being developed.

01 / LOCATION

Where is it going?

Provide the city and country, the receiving address when available, and the intended indoor or outdoor setting.

02 / ACCESS

How will it arrive?

Flag doorways, routes, lifting access and other known constraints that need review.

03 / RESPONSIBILITY

Who is coordinating locally?

Identify the receiving contact, site manager and qualified professionals responsible for installation decisions.

BEFORE DISPATCH

Agree the handover points.

Packing and transport arrangements should follow the work’s form, surface and handling requirements. Confirm the agreed scope rather than assuming every service is included.

Discuss these items in the quotation

  • Packing method and protection for vulnerable features.
  • Package dimensions and handling information.
  • Transport route and the receiving party.
  • Responsibility for freight, insurance, customs and local charges.
  • Documents required for the agreed destination.
  • Inspection and reporting arrangements on receipt.

WORKSHOP PACKING FILMS

A closer look before dispatch.

Watch how wrapped pieces are supported inside a timber crate and how the crate is closed. These films document workshop packing; international shipping and on-site installation are agreed separately for each project.

Closing the crate

Installation in context.

Lifting, access and work around the base take different forms from one site to another. Explore these project photographs, then open the complete project sequence for a closer look.

INSTALLATION PLANNING

Make the interfaces explicit.

The installation scope must reflect the actual site, foundation, access and local requirements. Assign the relevant responsibilities before confirming the schedule.

FOUNDATION

Site readiness

Confirm the required site and foundation information with the appointed technical reviewers.

HANDLING

Equipment and access

Agree who assesses and arranges suitable handling equipment, lifting operations and access.

HANDOVER

Completion and care

Record the agreed checks, completion information and any project-specific care guidance.

Engineering, lifting and installation methods must be determined by the qualified professionals responsible for the work. This page describes planning topics, not site instructions or a promise of service in every country.

FOR YOUR FIRST ENQUIRY

Tell us where the sculpture needs to be.

Along with the design brief, include the destination, available site images, approximate access dimensions and intended completion date. Mark any unknowns so they can be reviewed.
